WP1. Co-construction of varietal and cropping system ideotypes adapted to smallholders
This work package aims at identifying the representative of stakeholders and their typology in Indonesia as well as socioeconomics constraints and stakeholders’ demand. This statement should lead to a co-construction of solutions for resilient rubber-based cropping systems in Indonesia in a context of socioeconomics and environmental pressures.
Through workshop, farmer survey and Focus Group Discussion, this work package will determine the typology of stakeholders and cropping systems on the one hand, and will identify the stakeholders’ demand and need, and local knowledge on the other hand. This information will be used to know farmer/farmer group needs and constraints in implementing good agricultural practice, to build networking or collaboration between farmers and other stakeholders to implement this project, and to identify location of further on-farm trials.
